IIcohow-wowyp round two! (1/8) Traska Summiteer vs. Omega Seamaster 120m

If I could only have one watch - which one would you chose? The first round is over, now it's only winners you're voting for. Traska Summiteer (38mm) I got this watch by backing it on Kickstarter in 2019. I picked the yellow second hand for an extra pop of colour. I am really happy with this watch, I like the dark coating and it's versatility. I appreciate that while the 3-6-9 scream Explorer, the rest look different enough so I never feel like wearing a copy. The Miyota 9k movement in it is one of my guilty pleasures, I love to spin it up by abruptly turning my wrist. Omega Seamaster 120m (36mm) Omega introduced this dressy variant in 1993 together with the beloved Bond-Seamaster. The 120m developed into the Aqua Terra line later. It came in many dial variants, including a ana-digi. I bought mine recently when I was looking for a white dial everyday watch. I wanted the quartz variant for the pick-up-and-go. It's more accurate than my certified quartz chronometer so far and it is sooo beautiful to look at. Which one would you pick?

I hate that the Summiteer eclipses the Commuter. I'm sick of the Exporer-esque dials, and that deep dish contour is not to my liking either. Plus the Omega is a light dial with plain indices and a date, plus it's smaller and quartz too?

I prefer the Commuter as well, but back then those didn't exist and the explorer copy genre wasn't quite as ubiquitous as now 🤷‍♂️

I picked the Omega too, for the "if I could only have one watch" idea that's one of my top candidates

I picked the traska because of the blue dial and yellow hand and the bigger size

That is not as easy. If Traska met another competition it could have gone further, but this Omega is just too much.
