Does the quality of the watch organiser/box matter to assure a better condition of your watches? Or is a Rolex OK to be kept in a $5 watch box.

Is the yes/no poll meant to be for the first question, or the second one?

·

Doesn't really matter, especially if it's just a box and not a winder.

No. Yes.

1st, the second one is just an example.

You will get varied opinions, but in my view the box should match the watches and your greater storage solution (IE safe in some cases).

I am not saying go out and get a $20K watch box, but if your box is holding $50K in watches, you can afford to spend at least 1-5% of that on a better box. Yes, like watches, they all do the same job, but there is a significant difference in quality (fit, finish, security, hardware, spacing, fabric, etc) . That said, you can get a well made Rothwell for almost nothing on Amazon and be completely happy, or spend about $500 on this beautiful Analog Shift/Wolf box and also be happy.

Like watches, you can spend as little or as much as you want on your storage.

Some storage will always be better than no storage

You asked two questions. Which the poll referring to?

·

LOL! Even a cheap, compartmentalized watch box is better than a shoe box ... which is where I kept my modest collection until my GF gifted me an actual watch box from Amazon ...

Is it protected and secure. Those are the only 2 things to consider. Everything beyond that is just preference. That being said, I have a glass top watch box on my dresser so I can look upon my treasures whenever I please 😁😉. No children or anyone else in my home that will bother or destroy them.
