Launching a general concept for my upcoming reviews
Hi there,crunchers
After my really sucessfull poll, i decided to write reviews about my hole collection,including round about 15 watches (number rising).
So before writing my first review in the upcoming weeks,i want to share a general concept.
Importantant: I also want to bring in more of the personal story,because in my opinion the story behind a watch, is a very important part of watchcollecting.
So here is the concept:
Short linking to this post
Specs: brand,modell,WR,glass,movement
Backstory: how it got my attention, how i purchased it
Purchase: where,when,why, regular price vs price i purchased it for, purchase experience
Core memories/moments
Purpose: What did/do i use it for? On which ocassion do i wear it?
Gone/there
Go/Hold and why
Conclusion: love it or not
Recomandation
Do you like the concept? Did i miss anything?

That sounds like a good plan,I say go for it. Of course the proof will be in the pudding so to speak. I'm sure once you've done some and got some feedback you can tweek them if needed. Looking forward to them.

What do you actually mean with the proof and the pudding though?🤔
I would refrain from using trite phrases like "punches above it class" or "wears smaller than its specs". Those have been used too often and are meaningless at this point.
I'd avoid taking too much of the brands story and republishing it. A simple link to the brand is enough.

What do you actually mean with the proof and the pudding though?🤔
Sorry its so English term for the finished result,basically you've got a great idea/concept but what counts is what you actually produce. And when you've made some you might think I could change this to make it better,all part of the process.
