I'm sure many of us have had at least one watch become magnetised.

I recently experienced this with my Yema superman as it was suddenly gaining 25 spd! After much thought, I came to the conclusion that the most likely cause was not my ipad phone or desktops speakers. It was most likely the IH stove. It was this experience that made me realise why advancements in antimagnetic properties of movements probably hold more relavance now tham ever before.

Thank you for sharing this piece of information. I didn't even consider the induction stove could cause magnetism in watches. I know how they work but it didn't even cross my mind to be wary of it. I guess it only take-outs for me or only wear my Certina watch when cooking.

Almost all new tablet now come with magnetic case and pencil. It is a lot of Gauss, I forget to take a note. It always cause my watch to magnetised, even the titanium case one. Fortunately I have two demagnitizer. Is you Omega Railmaster anti magnetised? Ball watches most of them are anti magnetised.

I bought a de-magnetizer under $40 because my Oris 65 has been magnetized several times. It's a good investment and works in a few seconds
