San Martin diver watch

Hello everyone, what are your toughts on this one? Do you have some experience?

I have some experience, just not with this watch.

It is a nice looking watch. So was the watch that it was based on. It is more suitable for daily wear than any vintage diver. San Martin has been getting good reviews.

It is about time that someone asked an existential question about homages. It has been days.

Chinese micro brand with feedback in the 90% range with their main focus on Aliexpress and costing more on Amazon. Warranty might be an issue there. Pagani is cheaper and comparable quality. They are all photocopied Rolex models down to the Mercedes hands. Some of the Youtube reviews were sponsored by the company so there is that. Look around at Long Island Watch and Jomashop for a comparable watch and rock solid after sales service. Aragon Watch has a sale on a good diver for around a hundred.

They are both revered and dismissed on Reddit... its a strange market to be in where at one point they were charming for the price point they wandered into microbrand money and they are a bit hit or miss QC wise according to the posts I have read, YMMV but if Im spending that 400+ im looking elsewhere.  I bought my Helm Komodo for 285 and its dead nuts perfect and an original design.

Not all photocopied models, although that's what people always talk about. They also do this diver, but that is north of £500:

Not sure if Pagani does the particular vintage style of the original post, but Addiesdive does.

Thats a 45mm x 55mm titanium monster with a SW200 movement but does not say Selita SW200 so it is probably the Chinese clone of it. The official store has sold one copy. The one he is buying is a BB58 clone with Rolex mercedes hands. Fake rivets and all.

I have this watch in a different dial, absolutely love it.

I have a number of San Martin watches now and can't speak highly enough of them. My only warning is the bracelet, don't get me wrong it is really nice. But the adjustment of the twin screw heads is painful!!!!

Interesting how most of the comments on experiencing that diver are just opinions, not based on experience. So many ready to judge before hand. I have sn004-G. Got it for 152 dollars on the 11.11. sale and i am just satisfied with it. 38 mm is so comfy and it just looks so good. No problems at all this month i've got it but i was lucky. Just had to microadjust the bracelet to fourth hole and it fits my wrist perfectly. Looking for another San Martin buy.
