Choosing strap for Christopher Ward the twelve

Hi everybody,

I'm going to order the Twelve (36 mm) glacier blue on a bracelet. This will be to share with my wife and will also order a rubber strap for quick change.

I don't like the light blue, so I would go for the black or dark blue...

Wich one do you think wold be better?

Can't go wrong with a dark blue!

From what I know of wives you will hardly ever get to wear it. I would make the dial color a rock - paper - scissors decision.

You mean you don’t like the light blue strap? I see there is the dark blue strap but I’m not sure how that would look, I think I would go black. I also like the Nordic blue. My Bel Canto is in light blue. I want a titanium 12 but I don’t like the fumé dials. I’m going to the live event in London in March so I will get a good look a them in the flesh so that might change my mind.

I came to the same conclusion. The blue strap is not truly dark, so the black one will be a safer choice.

I won't use it much. It will mainly be my wife wearing the watch, with the bracelet sized for her wrist

When you get it check that the fit is good on the bracelet before wearing it out. My mate bought a 36 for his Mrs and the butterfly is hurting her wrist. From the picture you can see the outer part of the clasp seems to curl in which is normal but seems a bit more aggressive than normal. The second photo is my Cartier Pasha which seems a bit more delicate with a larger flatter section. So when unboxing be as critical as you would be in a shop.
