NWA: Seiko5 Snoopy field watch

It arrived today, finally!

So cute!

Didn't like the black leather strap it came with. Don't know why Seiko chose leather for this while Snoopy diver is on NATO....

Temporarily on oversized 20mm NATO. Need to get 18mm strap, NATO or maybe canvas.

What I didn't realize until I received it was the back is actually glass, half see through. (Well, Seiko online store actually describes this but I sponteneously ordered it before looking at any of the details 😅)

The regular 36mm Flieger variants all come on leather so they went with a leather. But the monochromatic look will make this look on many straps. With a little yellow accent, would be fun to play around with straps.

I generally do not like cartoon characters on watch dials, but I like Snoopy, and can Seiko possibly make a bad looking dial? I'm glad you found one you like so much.

I ordered the same watch and have had it for a couple of weeks now, such a great watch although I've noticed(somehow) the caseback has been cracked.
