This is going to be a sinful post but the Apple Watch is actually helping me get a good preview of having a word timer complication and if it’s worth it for me.

Now that I do find it useful I want a Farer or Frédérique Constant.

I have a few GMTs but this feels next level.

Anyone have a good world timer they suggest?

So many Casios to name…I left my Royale at home and took my Twin Sensor, which has a compass, thermometer and world timer.

Lol doh. I should have put 2 and 2 together.

I have an Apple Watch ultra and it’s a good watch for keeping on top of thing to do and tracking stuff.

How dare you? LCD is heretical here! And lithium? OMG you dare polluting our sacred space with devices with lithium batteries in them?

Where are the pitchforks when I need them?

Not sun full at all. If it wasn’t for my Apple Watch I might have never gotten into the hobby.

It's the "tracking stuff" bit that worries me. 1984 anyone? 😬

I'm partial to quartz for traveling worldtimers, Citizen eco-drive specifically. So here are a couple, along with a SanMartin I've got on my eye on.

The Omega AT Worldtimer would be my preferred, but don't have the cash at the moment ha!

Last shot is what Im wearing at the moment. You guessed it, another Citizen, scored thos one for $100 off a well known auction site. And I just noticed I adjusted the date incorrectly.... joy!

I dislike most worldtimers since they can’t compensate for daylight savings time. they’re off for more than half the year! Digital ones like the Apple Watch can/do, which makes them actually useful for the job. The only analog watch that makes an effort is the standard Omega Aqua Terra World Timer, which has different colored text for cities that have DST.

Good info for consideration!

When doing water activities yes. The sleeves on the UPF sun shirt are too tight to fit a watch under.
