Little information about Kurono Tokyo!
I'm one of many people, waiting for the next Kurono Tokyo watch. So, I visited their salon in Aoyama, Tokyo last month, and asked a few questions.
Sadly I didn't meet Hajime Asaoka in person but a lovely lady helped me! I can speak Japanese quite fluently but still, there might be some misunderstanding tho!
Q: When will Kurono Tokyo release new watches? And is there any schedule for future releases?
A: It's tentative but I believe it would be around late May. And yes, we always release about 4~5 lineups every year. So, even if you missed the latest release, you always have the next chance. (Not the same model though.)
Q: Will Korono Tokyo ever release past models once more?
A: We don't have any plans to do that at the moment.
Q: Is there any other way to get any updates except from the newsletter and your website?
A: If you live in Japan, you can add Kurono Tokyo in Line(the most common messenger app in Japan). Then we will send updates faster than other methods. However, it doesn't give you any privilege to pre-order or anything related to purchase.
Q: Is there any way to see new watches before I purchase?
A: When we release new watches, we will host a showcase here, Aoyama Kurono Tokyo Salon. You can see the watch irl and can place an order if it's available.
I was most pleased about their release schedule so I started to save up some money for their watches haha. I might visit once more so if you guys have other questions, I might have time to ask on your behalf 🙂

I have several of Kurono watches, really like them. I was also wondering why they have not made any releases this year. Thanks for answering that question for me.
