I have never done it myself, but there are plenty of videos on YouTube about regulating your own watches. Here is a pretty good one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPeKFk1axbA

It might be another issue, but I would have no idea beyond trying to regulate the watch.

It’s definitely more than a regulation. Especially if it just started running slow.

Step 1 is get it on a Timegrapher. Beyond that, possibly some interference in the hands, rubbing together or getting stuck.

·

Did it get magnetized? If so get a degausser from Amazon.

·

Id take it to a watch maker, if you know one that you like or trust or both. This seems like too big of an issue for someone without skills to fix.

Magnetic interference, improper positioning of the balance wheel, debris or other foreign materials in the train of gears, lack of lubricant, friction, hands are rubbing or catching thing. Could just simply need to be adjusted.

Suggest making sure it has a full wind, placing it on a timegrapher in a quiet area, away from bumps and sound, let it tick away for about an hour to get an accurate reading, or, setting it on a table and use a digital or quarts watch to see how inaccurate the time is over an hour or so. That will give you an idea of how much regulation it will need to have adjusted.

It is fairly simple to regulate yourself. Just be careful not to damage the hair spring.

I’ve nudged the minute hand because it look a little high so it could have been rubbing against the minute hand

A demagnetizer is cheap and the first step. I think 20 minutes a day in in spec for the NH35. The specs are really wide for those.

·

Get a new NH35. 🍻cheap enough get 5 😜

Agreed, costs less than repairing it 🙃

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.watchaccuracymeter.app try this app if you don't have a Timegrapher. Put the watch right in front of your phone's microphone and see what it tells you.

I bet it has a huge beat error. Maybe you nudged something while putting everything together.
