A Serica GMT in the sun, to go with my Serica diver.

I've fallen absolutely in love with this since i opened the box & have been alternating it with my 5303 that i got end of last year.

Serica really really know how to do colours right. The brown (desert red!) and white bezel is gorgeous and i catch myself starting at it constantly.

The lumed indices have just a hint of gilt around them which just goes so well with the dial.

and the strap, i was genuinely was quite surprised at how comfortable and premium it felt, super light and flexible, feels almost like leather, but i can actually shower or swim with it.

also got a cheap bonklip from aliexpress but i dont think im going to pair it with this, the brown strap just fits.

gotta be honest, I might be done in the short term.

to me, these are two perfect watches.

I cant see myself getting anything another diver or a GMT. these are IT.

only a grail chrono remains for my perfect 3 watch collection.

So excited someone posted about the desert red 8315. I’ve been thinking about this watch a LOT lately. Definitely been going back and forth between thinking of this and the 5303, just love them both but can’t decide which is the right move for me. Wear them in good health 👌

My Serica 5303 Chrono (black dial) arrived just a couple of days ago. Stunning. Beautiful, unique design, terrific legibility, wears perfectly, clearly a quality product. As good a microband watch as I have seen to date. I may have to add the tuxedo 8315 to the collection.

I think that red/brown is the nicest gmt i have seen; even better than my Houdinkee/Mido retro look. How is the lume on your Serica GMT?

thanks, and enjoy!
