A Serica GMT in the sun, to go with my Serica diver.

I have two Serica's, the updated 5303-3 diver and the new 8315-2 gmt.
To me there's no other watch in a price bracket under 2-3x of what they offer that I would rather have over my Serica. The design langauge is unique.
I got them knowing their previous (shambolic) response to the newton movement issues. Yeah they messed up, but since the update to the movement I've only read good things about them, and from my few email exchanges with them they were very responsive.
I would recommend.
have had mine since Christmas. havent taken it off. It's running consistently -1 spd since I got it.
To me its a stunning watch and I'm never letting it go. The finishing and the design is top notch. Nothing quite like it out there imo.
I also have the desert red GMT ordered so I trust the brand. Communication voa email is always quick.

the movement has changed from the problematic one, I had my initial doubts too, but reviews of this new cosc version won me over.
can't talk about customer service yet but the few emails I've exchanged with Serica/Jerome have been pleasant and helpful.
oh I think they have a service center/authorised watchmaker down under now.

and that's a beautiful watch with the tuxedo. I hope they bring it back.
new to the hobby and it was like that for me for a bit (with regards to microbrands)
in the end, the Serica was too good for me to pass. so i did get it (after a decent amount of "research"). i also have the 5303 on order 😅
it did help that i live across the border, AND they have local after sales service where I live.
