Casio vintage on chunky wrist...

Casio vintage has always been fun for me but I never bought one, until 3 years ago when my friend gave me f91-W as a gift and it was very exciting but as soon as I wore it, it just looked weird on my wrist, I do have a large and chunky wrist so maybe because of that it looked weird on me, coming back to now I saw a700 on sale for just $22 and bought it again very excited for the watch, but as soon as I wore it the flashbacks from f91-W came back, again it looked weird on my wrist which made me realise that maybe Casio vintage is just not for my wrist even If I love it...

But on the other hand both of these watches went to my sister who did not wore watches as they irritated her but she did gave it a try and f91-W has been her daily watch since 2 years, and now it's time for a700 to be on her wrist, successfully got her into watches...

That A700 is pretty slim too, but I think they are meant to look small on the wrist and think they look fine in your photos. But congratulations in hooking your sister into this crazy hobby! 🤪

Those are small watches, what did you expect? I was kinda underwhelmed when I got the A700 and put it on my wrist, but I learned to love it, it's a small watch, it's meant to be small and unobtrusive. It's meant to be light and thin, you forget you're wearing it. That's why you have the hourly chime there. Those are the eighties and early nineties models, miniaturisation was all over the headlines, don't you remember?

Thats the charme of them.

I bought one just for fun to add to the collection. But mainly my son wears it now 😂

You might want to look at SKMEI watches on AliExpress, they have a lot of Casio lookalikes that are larger and cheaper. I dont own a SKMEI watch so i cant tell you about there quality but from the reviews that the customers left people say they are good.

I don't see the problem. These watches are the perfect size and fit everyone well. I guess you are used to ginormous things.

If you want similar style but larger, get a B650:

43mm x 41mm x 10.5mm (I have a 7.2” wrist for reference)
