I wpuld go with dresskx. Mostly because i believe the wr and the screw down crown is more appropriate in the dresskx than the 5kx
5KX. The dive dial sans dive bezel looks really jarring to me. It's a chimera.
Dresskx...I have a couple Seiko Divers already with more capability
Dress (well I'd class it as sports), only because I've no interest in divers. Actually that divers bezel looks quite flat/dull.
I like both. I have lots of divers. I own the dress kx and put it on a good bracelet. It's a fantastic watch so dress kx gets my vote.
I own two. A black one for white shirts and a blue one for blue shirts/ gray/ charcoal suit combos.
My Srpe57 dressKX is my favorite watch 💁🏻♂️😊
Dresskx. Might be the best value anything watch out there ATM. Better price than the perennial fav Hamilton Khaki Field, Good lume, excellent versatility, many options of dial color and case finish.

I have both, but they are modded. I love them both.
On the 5KX the bezel insert was replaced with a 12-hr ceramic lumed insert to help track two time zones. The dress kx was heavily modded; the hardlex crystal was replaced with a sapphire crystal, dial and hands were replaced.
