Tissot PRX 35mm quartz review

In a nutshell, this watch is a beast!

I finally think it is the right time to review this little awesome piece after 2 months of ownership.

First, specs!

  • 35mm (feels like 36 or even 37)

  • Quartz

  • Stainless still bracelet

  • Butterfly clasp

  • Ice blue dial

  • Nice taper

Of course for daily wear, the PRX 35 is great (I have a 6.5 inch wrist), whether for a casual lunch with fam or a night out with friends and wifey. Plus number 1 is its versatility.

Then, 2 weeks ago I took a risk and wore this watch on a 4-day outdoor trip, consisting of rafting, riding ATV through muds, day hiking, swimming in a pool and lake. This watch took all of the activites like a champ.

I even had it submerged for minutes at a time at a depth of between 20-60 cm, no issues at all.

After a whole day hiking, I would think that it would pick up some scratches. None whatsoever. I’m not sure what other reviewers meant when they say the bracelet is a scratch magnet. Not the case here.

Although many were disappointed there is no microadjustment, I am lucky to found a perfect fit, plus, not expecting micro adjustment at the price.

Yes yes, the seconds hand is slightly misaligned, but in practice, how often do we really say more than the minute to tell time?

All in all, I really believe there is no better watch below 500 bucks than the tissot PRX 35mm quartz. Whatever the dial color, it will rock.

I honestly can’t find no faults with this watch, it is beautiful yet well-built. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone looking for their first swiss watch or for adding to their collection.

I went with the bigger one, just because mint green dial was calling my name

Yup!

Got the auto blue dial version a week ago. Can’t put it down!

Picked up some scratches on the clap area of the bracelet but for good reason. I’ve been setting up heavy disaplys the last 2 weeks.

Love that watch.

Enjoy yours!

I’m waiting for the 35mm auto unless Christopher Ward bring out a smaller version of the 12.

Glad to hear you got a good fit. I want the 35mm gold version. I was worried with my 6.5” wrist I would struggle to find a good fit. Nice to know you were able to get it to work for you.

Especially the gold, it has to be the 35mm.

Oo yeah the twelve is nice, it’s like an aqua terra with integrated bracelet. Worth to wait
