Moonswatch purchase advice

Hi all, wondering if any of you have bought a MoonSwatch and could share the experience with me? I recently visited a boutique and they had a few models available. This MoonSwatch Saturn really caught my eye. I understand that lots of watch enthusiasts claiming that the Moonswatch is a plastic toy but when i managed to get my hands on it the other day the design really took me away. I am still contemplating on whether to get one or not but to me it is a worthy collectible watch and a fun watch to wear despite me having small wrists (16cm).

They are extremely fragile. One guy on YouTube just touched it and the pusher snapped off. Another guy got huge scratches when he opened the box once and the watch touched the top of the box for half a second.

If you're okay with that for this kind of money then go for it.

In my opinion it's nothing more than a display piece.

For me it's a fun / occasional wear and mostly there just to be in the collection. No quality issues so far and am suspicious of some of the claims made on YT. It's a lot of money for a plastic watch but as with so much of consumerism, part of what you're paying for is the brand. And for me, this piece really highlights the importance of the brand in decision making in this game (and others). Don't think you can underestimate the significance of the MoonSwatch and the questions asks us as collectors. However, all of that aside, it's just a good looking, playful and irreverent watch. And it will probably get more comments from 'normos' than a real Speedmaster.

P.s. I think the Saturn is underrated. Can't unsee the face but it also makes it unique.

It's a fun watch, but it's not a "value" watch.

I enjoy my Jupiter, but I definitely baby it a bit more than most of my watches.

One guy on the internet looked at one and it literally exploded. So, there's that.

I am waiting for a model to commemorate the Kuiper Belt. I would wait in line for that. (I am a huge fan of Duane Kuiper.)
