I've updated one of my favorite watch memes I've shared elsewhere years ago. Today I present the average "Investor bros" on Patrick Bateman's NWA day at the office. Stay tuned for parts 2 and 3!

They would all have yellow gold Rolexes...maybe even Oysterquartz. Whatever was seen as luxurious and high-tech. More importantly, devoid of any personality. Black Bay Pro is too charismatic for them. And a Daytona doesn't fit the image of a late 80's businessman.
(I'm not saying that a Rolex is a mark of missing personality, just that it attracts such people.)
My improptu lineup (acknowledging Bateman wore a Seiko standing for a gold Rolex):
Bateman: gold Datejust
Bryce: two-tone Datejust
Van Patten: gold Datejust on strap
Allen: gold Day-date
Carruthers: Cartier Tank, rose gold.

Thanks. I made the joke in mind with modern investor bros, of whom I'm around due to work. Most of them have SS Datejusts and Tudor BB variations, and aspire deeply for any daytonas at all.
