Zero West

I watched Youtube, I like this watch, but too bad, it is above what i am willing to pay for the import tax

It is all about design.

Never heard of these watches but just clicked the link. It doesn’t appear the altimeter is functioning? They don’t mention anything about that as a working complication. Nice design though…

English is not my first language. It is a new watch. I dont think whoever bought it are willing to sell it.

·

I may purchase it when it is sold in the shop.

Yes altimeter is maybe to link it to pilot watch. In youtube it stated that it use metal from airplane. I agree, nice design. Very tough looking macho

This is going to sound ridiculous after the last watch I bought, but I find them too big and too expensive.

It is 41mm, and lug to lug is 46mm. So it should not be too large.

The 60 ft was the altitude the Lancaster bombers had to be to drop the bombs so they would skip on the water, make it past the German nets and sink in front of the damn and blow it up, thus stopping the German manufacturing and the war machine.

The case back is made from metal from the recovered airplanes from Operation Chastise that severely crippled the Nazis ability to make tanks and planes and helped the allied forces win the war.

If you search for Zero West DB1 on YouTube then first thing that comes up is a fantastic documentary about operation chastise and this watch made by Osin O'Malley, highly recommend anyone to watch it.

Personally I was really close to buying the blackout version in all black pvd, it's a stunner and I love the history and story of the watch, it's really great. I think it's about $3500 so not crazy, but it's a good chunk of change. I hope to get one some day, they are very well made in the UK which is cool.

It may be other watches that they do then but they all look big in the pictures.
