Trying field

I was curious to explore the world of field watches.. of course Hamilton came up. My daily life called for something more rugged and reliable. So, I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, even the 38mm size seemed a tad too big for me. But then, I stumbled upon this Timex. It boasts a sleek design with a sturdy Sapphire crystal and a convenient screw-down feature.

Putting the price aside, and the solar movement for a moment, I truly believe it's a pretty decent choice for those venturing into the world of field watches.

It looks really nice! I always have a look at the timex expedition models each time I’m in a shopping mall.

Have you had a look at the field watch from Islander watches ?

There's always the old Seiko5 SNK collection. They wear pretty small if size is an issue.

True that, My fav is the SNK381K, small, thin field style, and now the new issues like the SRPJ83K1 look interesting but still too thick!!

Yeah trends come and go. I have an SNK805 green that I bought in 2015 for $43 and I put away cause the trend was for larger watches (40mm and above) and now smaller watches are back. WC community has really made me appreciate some of the watches that I own that I thought I outgrew.

Honestly, I love that watch - and the black case version too. It is super well designed, unpretentious and a great value. Your photos flatter it. Well chosen!
