My humble watch ‘collection’

Hi all, I’m relatively new here and just wanted to share my humble watch collection. I’ve been passionate about watches for the last 5 years but try to be very sensible about my watch purchases. I’m 25 years old and need to have my financial priorities straight. Sometimes it can be quite difficult seeing the beautiful watches you guys share on this platform😉. However, hereby a little bit of background of my collection:

Certina ds action diver 38mm: bought this watch in 2021. It was actually my first watch. I was working my first ‘real’ job for a couple of months and wanted to reward myself. I still love it. It’s robust, beautiful and I made many memories wearing this watch. I also did a couple of dives in Spain wearing this watch and it was a real special feeling doing something the watch was designed for.

Seiko 5 SSK001K1: bought this watch last year when I started my new job. Reason why I bought this watch is because I have an American girlfriend (I’m from The Netherlands) and so it’s quite helpful to be able to track two timezones. It’s a wonderful watch and I think for the summer I’ll put it on a rubber strap.

Casio AE1500WH: also bought this watch last year and put it really to the test. Last year I traveled throughout Indonesia wearing this watch and it has conquered the jungle, ocean, mountains and rumbling rivers. It’s not a G-shock but it’s built well and can definitely take a beating.

Casio F-91W: in my collection since last week. It’s just a fun, accurate and cheap little watch. What’s not to like?

Hats off to you if you made it this far. I’m not totally sure what my next watch purchase will be but I think it’s going to be the Glycine Airman The Chief purist white dial.
