My next watch
Hi guys, I’m looking for something very specific… Has to fot my 6.25” wrist (36-39mm) has to be a GADA watch, has to have just a little bit of bling somewhere (maybe some polishing on the bracelet) A nice black dial that I can see in most situations so AR coating on the crystal. Price anywhere up to 3k. I often think about the omega aqua terra 38mm but worried it’s a touch too thick. I know I’m being very specific but it’s just where my thoughts have taken me! I’ve posted a pic of my latest puRichard. It’s the CW Atoll (40mm) it wears a little smaller so I get away with it! It’s a lovely watch but it’s more of a summer dial. Any suggestions please? I’d love something like a black bay 36 but with a bit of polishing here and there 😊👍

36mm Aqua Terra, I think they did the Rail Master in 36mm variant as well. Mine was well finished had a really deep black dial and the Omega movements are quality.

I really wish you lived a little closer to St. Helens so I could have a look in person! It’s definitely an option but I’ll have to learn from my past buying mistakes and try one on first haha. I just sold my Oris this morning and took a £700 hit on that! At least it’s finally going anyway 😊👍

Mine's gone now 😭. It sold recently, at least I know it's to fund the GS. To me it wore like a thinner more rounded version of the Everest you had.
That's a hit but at least it's gone and can be forgotten about now. Has the Black Bay gone as well?

Ahhh that’s good anyway mate that you sold 👍 my bb58 still for sale but I dont worry about losing on that as I think it will go for around £2300. Just had email confirmation of my 38mm CW diver coming tomorrow too so looking forward to see how that wears 😊👍

Yeah I’ve had the bb36 a few times but its lack of ar coating really bugged me. I’ve even considered getting another and having the crystal replaced 🙈👍
First thing that comes to mind is the Formex Essence 39. Has AT vibes while avoiding being a direct homage. Formex in general make some of the best watches under $5k. 10 mm thick, awesome bracelet, modern design. It would be on my short list.
If looking for a more classic look, the Longines Spirit 37 mm would be worth a look.
Fully agree with the guy above. The new Logines Spirit in 37mm might be the best proposition for what you're after. Just above 2K, 100m WR, Cosc certified movement, Date windows, 70h power reserve. Great watch from a great brand with a history.
Perhaps you can try to put your hands on a second hand Tudor BB58 for this price. You've got the new Ranger which is in your range of price and it even got a on-the-fly adjustment clasp which for the price might be the only one on the market. I do believe Tudor will update the BB36 line soon with T-Fit clasp, jubilee bracelet and Cosc movement like they did on the S&G line. Might be worth the wait.
