Today is my wife’s birthday!

Naturally I needed to buy her a gift on this special leap day birthday.

She doesn’t wear watches much. She had an Apple Watch for a while and then stopped wearing it because of the constant notifications. She has a rose gold Tayroc that she wears occasionally when we go out but doesn’t have an everyday watch.

She saw this in an Instagram ad and loved the colour and retro feel. She occasionally wears my Casio F-91W.

I will be giving the watch to her later on tonight after dinner with the kids. I hope she likes it.

Well done mate 🫡

I bought mine 2 solar watches (Seiko & Citizen) as that gives her hassle free long term watches.

Yes, my Mrs is into the hobby - I got her this a couple of years ago.

By far our poshest watches 👍🏻

I bought my wife an Hermes watch as a going away gift back in 1985, she hinted that she might stay in Canada with a good reason, lol. After marriage I have given her a few Cartier watches, most memorable is the Ballon Bleu that we shopped for ahead of telling her family that she was undergoing chemo treatments for a rare breast cancer. She eventually realized that I buy watches because I like buying watches more than she enjoys receiving them and suggested an occasional living orchid or dinner out in the neighbourhood. Personally I feel dinner is nice, celebratory but a nice watch will last a lot longer!

Thanks for sharing. My wife has come to the same conclusion. I buy watches because I like buying watches.

We are an old married couple so she shops for what she loves, doesn’t object to my watches but she prefers a small rotation. However lately she plunders my stash after wearing bigger watches including my Panerai watches. Have a great day!❤️

My original Omega clasp failed needed to be repaired under warranty I prefer the mesh decided to buy when I was at the Swatch repair centre. I know the OEM mesh is priced a bit too high but I don’t mess with straps etcetera. Take care my good man!
