Gul watches 🕊️ Experiences/Opinions?
I was originally looking for a cheap but classic diver for my son, but as always when looking for watches for others I find something I like myself.
I feel GUL is kinda classic? I have the velcro strapped wierdos in my memory from somewhere 🤔 Maybe I spendt a lot of time wanting one as a kid?
Any thoughts or experiences to share please? I mean this funky piece in the photo is under 50euros on sale. Love the look 🥰

I've looked at this one especially at the current price, it's a good deal if you like the look. I can't live with the busy dial and I really have too many chronos. I have their tide watch and I'm not impressed with the build quality, though it's a great watch for a sunny day/ at the beach and was not bought for its horology!

Bad build quality for the price even? I mean... What else is there in this price range with objectively great build quality?
I love the look. I also find the childish surfer velcro straps charming.
I think best bet is to go to klocksnack.se and ask around since its a Swedish watch community, I for example see Gul watches being sold in stjärnurmakarna so they are probably fairly common in Sweden since its a Swedish brand

I see several urmakere selling these in Norway also. Probably why I have some memories of their unique designs.
I haven’t tried an adult Gul watch but I bought a kids titanium one for my son and would love an adult version. The build quality is actually pretty good, definitely better than what I’d expect at that price point, definitely a better choice than flic flak. Because of that I wouldn’t be opposed to an adult Gul. Also my son is six very active and wears the watch a lot and it’s still in very good condition so they can take a beating.
