I have a strong affinity for some dome or a boxed crystal, anything that can give some distortion and interesting lightplay. Flat crystals have a place on toolwatches IMO. But let's hear.
Boxed is the bestest. You get a nice smooth radius to add character and a flat top to ward off off reflections and central damage. It's clearly the best of both worlds.

I think my latest acquisition has my first boxed crystal. The acrylic material does something different too 🤔 I enjoy the effekt 👌
It might be because I’m drawn to tool watches but I’ll generally pick a flat crystal.
I prefer a flat crystal, but like @Matt84 I tend to prefer tool watches.
What a PC-answer 😜

I used to be into divers and other rugged watches for the most part, but now I think I'm changing 🦋

That’ll probably happen to me as well But right now I prefer tool watches and flat crystals.
Hopefully the designer have thought about it and generally make good decisions?
