Was catching up with some old friends, when I spotted a watch on my buddy's wrist which I could not recognise. We had a good chat as he was telling me about his Autodromo Group B, while he recognised my Nomos Tangente
Love your username ;)
I am a firm proponent of having both mechanical and quartz watches. They serve very different functions and can all be worn proudly on the wrist!
Perhaps less "entry level" and more of a first watch that doesn't break the bank! After all, these watches are a good way to get into watches. Some people find that they aren't too interested in the hobbyist/enthusiast side of things from their small investment into an entry level watch. To others, it's a gateway to something more
It looks like an all-around solid watch! Here are some alternatives which you might be interested to check out as well:
Pitzmann II
Tudor Black Bay 36
Christopher Ward Sealander C36
Formex Essence 39
Sinn 556 IB
Longines Spirit
Nomos Club Sport Neomatik
It's a spirit of consumerism. One good way would be to bound the purchase with a milestone event, that way it serves more like a memento/keepsake rather than just another toy
Spotted a GP Laureato Automatic on the metro. At first glance, I thought it was another PRX. Then I noticed that the bracelet was rather different. There wasn't good lighting in the metro carriage, so it was much later when I could make out the GP on the dial
milneraj hasn't earned any badges, yet.
