Recommendations for an automatic ladies' dress watch for my wife

A delightful day has come, my wife is interested in her first automatic watch! She loved the look of a Cartier tank, thought the smooth sweep of a GS Spring Drive was fascinating, and was thinking of something she could wear for more dressy functions. (As an educator, her Apple watch is her daily driver)

Some considerations:

  • Dressy - for formal occasions

  • Ideally works with both a bracelet and leather straps

  • Exhibition case back

  • Smaller dial size (<36mm) would be ideal since she has a slimmer wrist
