Yeah, well let me disagree with you on that one. I think of it as an ugly, and unnecessary, wart on an otherwise beautiful watch. Unless you're one of the few commercial saturation divers, and you probably aren't, it's absolutely unnecessary for a dive watch. If you are a commercial diver, you probably use a sophisticated professional dive computer anyway.
That wart of a knob keeps me from buying one of those otherwise beautiful Omegas. But hey, if you like it... it takes all kinds.
