Vintage 1980s to early 90s Vostok Komandirskie with 3aka3 MO CCCP printed on the dial

For those who don’t know, Vostok’s with 3aka3 MO CCCP printed on the dial mean that the watch was ordered by the Ministry of Defense of the Soviet Union.

Contrary to popular opinion, these weren’t given to soldiers in the field. They were, however, sold exclusively in soldier specific shops run by the Ministry of Defense.

I stalked your collection and it is amazing. Great mix, I especially love your Ocean Chrono and the Slava with the white hour ring on the blue background.

I have the original bezel that matches yours, but I love the this high facet one from an 80's amphibia.

I collect Soviet/Russian watches too, but mainly Vostok with a few Slavas and Reketas. I also run a site dedicated to modding vostoks, with a few how-to's thrown in. modstok .com.

I leave my Soviet era pieces untouched, but will mod others to suit.

Some random Pics..

You have a really nice collection as well. I really like your vintage barrel case Amphibia’s in particular. I’ll probably buy one next.
