Now that's a beauty - hats off to Bremont! But I can't find a reseller around here :-(

I always loved Bremont designs but some of their pricing are a bit puzzling.

·

Just be aware the Bremont photos are quite misleading - in the metal the watch is a much more blue-grey.

This is a more true representation of the colour:

Lovely watches. All I'm hoping is with this strange new rebrand they've just had, that the prices on the older models come down a bit

·

It’s still available online. Who knows for how long. Maybe check Chrono24 or eBay.

I've seen this piece IRL and it's one of their best. Snap it up before they discontinue it in favour of their rubbish new rebrand.

Toppers in Burlingame can help you out. They’re a dealer and definitely have the best pricing as far as new from AD. Let them know Rome sent ya.

·

Beautiful watch. This logo is great. They really f***ed up with the new logo.

They legitimately want to be the next Rolex or at a minimum the next Tudor and price accordingly

·

I love that gray color

Maybe they want to be at the level of Tudor but that's just a pipe dream. I would put them at the level of Hublot. Where they have no classic watches no heritage but yet they still ask for 5k not sure why. Again their designs are amazing but the price seems a bit high when you have no classics. No Black Bay, No ranger.

I wish they’d get rid of that distinctive case design and make the Supermarine really generic with a horrible logo and typeface.

·

They peaked with the Kingsman IMO.

This would have been a GREAT redesign/change of direction if they used a bidirectional 48 click bezel.

There isn't any reason to retain the unidirectional 120 click bezel from the previous 302 model with this new bezel insert.

As a scuba diver I expect the bezel to be unidirectional for security reasons. Why do you prefer a bidirectional one, and why 48 click? Please explain.

As divers, a dive bezel is more useful than a GMT bezel while we're underwater. The old S302 had a great timing bezel. This version of the S302 makes the most sense as a diving/travel watch.

Since a lot of dives happen away from your home time zone, you can track local time, use the GMT hand to track the time back home, and then time your bottom time/safety stop, etc on the unidirectional bezel. I loved this design.

And unidirectional makes sense in this context.

By stripping the timing function on the new S302, sure, you could technically line the triangle and use it to mark the start of your dive... but if that's the intent, why wouldn't we have just kept the original bezel? The original bezel insert was much more appropriate for diving.

The GMT bezel insert on the new S302 makes tracking a second time (or third) zone the priority over timing minutes elapsed. A bidirectional 48 click makes much more sense for that intended design & function than a unidirectional 120 click.

But then, compared to the Longines Spirit Zulu time at about the same price I am unsure which one to pick. What about you?
