The one and only moonwatch!
It’s #lumeshotfriday, so here’s a quick shot I took of the speedy, which I’ve really been enjoying on this 007 nato. Do you guys own/want to own a speedy in your collection? If so, what version interests you the most?

It's nice but I just don't spend this much on watches. Like 200 bucks if at all.
My absolute dream watch – still. Since I’m quite fascinated by nearly everything concerning space flight, this was the natural choice for me. So happy I went for it 8 years ago, when the version with the big box came out. And of course I got the Spectre NATO strap. 😎
The only thing bugging me a bit is the bracelet – since I tried the fantastic new version, mine just doesn’t look and feel refined enough any more. I even considered buying a new Speedmaster! 😅
But my Speedy was on my wrist for so many moments and went through so many things with me, in the end I didn’t want to replace it.
However, if you want to know what I would do if I wouldn’t already own one: I would go for a new 3861 on the bracelet with a Hesalite crystal. 🚀
I was lucky enough that around 11 years ago on the day of my wedding my wife gifted me a Speedy for a wedding present. As I don't wear rings she felt guilty for the money spent on hers and wanted to get me something special.
I did not wear it to the wedding as I did not have time to get it sized, and we dis not have time the next day before the flight for our honeymoon, so it sat at home for two weeks in its massive box until I could finally come home and get it sized!
Needless to say I love it to this day and wear it at least once a week and have a ever growing collection of straps for it!
