SOTC, post yours!

Hey All,

First real post on here, so I thought I would start with a state of the collection post to show where I’m at. Would love to see yours as well in the comments!

From left to right:

-Tag Heuer Formula 1 Calibre 5 Auto

-Tudor 1926

-Longines Master Collection (moon phase)

-Hamilton Khaki Auto

-Longines Legend Diver

-Laco Karlsruhe Pro

-1990’s Tag Heuer Professional Quartz

-Oris Big Crown Bronze 80th Anniversary

Don’t pay too much attention to the straps, I like messing around with them and change them often!

It’s an endless struggle. Cheap Amazon box ended up winning as my storage choice so I either need to fill it up or get a nice 8 bin one!

Geoff Beeezos always wins. I think you get the biggest box possible and just keep buying 😂. No limits.

I love the 1926! The especially enjoy the texture on the dial and the bracelet. It’s a really nice bracelet, and surprisingly comfortable. I wear mine a good amount. I wear it to the office with a dress shirt quite often, but it can also go more formal than that. I wore it with a suit at a wedding this summer and it got tons of compliments. Even on some weekends with casual jeans and a tshirt it doesn’t look too out of place. I’d think of it more as an “everyday” watch than a dress watch.

Yes, JLC Reverso Duo. My favorite piece and travel buddy thanks to the second time zone.

I think versatile watches like this are often overlooked. plus it has potential to retain some value.

That Longines moonphase looks fantastic. I wish they made more in smaller sizes, after speaking to a salesperson apparently even the 38.5mm ones are not too popular here in Sydney.

My latest SOTC. The only change is that I added an Orion Calamity.

Completely agree! It was also my first introduction to Tudor. And even though it’s “entry level” for Tudor, the quality is fantastic

You know I kind of flip flop with that watch. I’m actually wearing it today. It’s one of those pieces that every time I wear it I remember how much I love it, but it definitely doesn’t get enough wrist time.

I think this one is 42mm? Absolutely massive for a dress watch. Luckily I have a large wrist, but I agree if they did more in 38mm they would be really perfect.

I have an eight slot one and I think it’s plenty! If I didn’t like the box so much I would probably get a five or six slot one. Maybe not realistic of me though since my actual count is usually around ten watches…

Wow, amazing collection!!!

Thanks. This is a little over a decade of incremental improvements.

My wife is also very interested in watches and she has built quite a collection for herself. She will wear every watch here in the course of each month.
