Friends, I need your help. My son and I have agreed to buy each other watches for Christmas, with an $150 limit. I hope he doesn’t see this post, as he’s on the app.
I’ve decided to try to find him a birth watch. He was born March, 2000. There are a couple on eBay, but they are in Bangladesh, the hotbed of fakes.
Any recommendations for a good place to find a watch for him? Prefer automatic, prefer Seiko because month + year. Appreciate your advice and if anyone has one, message me!

I have, but the format makes shopping for a specific production month / year difficult. Haven’t found anything on there yet.
Oh, you’re looking for an exact month? That might be very difficult to find out. You can search for make and production year, though.
Can you search the net for watch releases of the birth year of your son? Then go to Chrono24 and enter the make and model number of the watch you like.

I just started searching and got frustrated. I found a website that lists all of the 2000 references so I’ll start there and move to Chrono 24. Thanks, friend!
