Always loved watches. Coming from Geneva, I always had Swatches watches around when I was a kid and then received a Sector for my 18th birthday... some time ago. As a student, I bought a Certina DS podium and kept switching between my Swatches, my Sector and Certina.
In my early 30s, I bought the Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 1887
300 SLR Carrera that I still consider as one of the nicest watches I owned.
Then I bought a Hublot Classic Fusion Chrono 41mm 8 years ago.
7 years ago I bought a vintage seiko 5 for 30$ on ebay and got it restored for 150$ and this is my favorite watch up to now.
The last years, I decided to sell all "things" I was not wearing or that I didn't like anymore so I sold the Certina and Tag Heuer and managed not to buy anymore watches for 2 years.
Then I got my daily watch which is a Rolex Explorer II 40mm (from 1990, the new one is a 42). I love this watch and wear it every day.
Last year I sold my Hublot and got a new Panerai Quaranta that is still in the box and I will probably sell it at one point.
I own a couple of other watches that I wear occasionally, a vintage 60s Zodiak from my father, a few Casio G-Shock, a very nice Breda watch and a Hoot watch.

New on-board! Seeking for advice on military watch 😉

It definitely doesn't look like a lady's watch. However, I find it personally too small for a daily use. I would wear it on occasions. Also, a watch must fit with you, your personality and your style. You have to feel comfortable and confident wearing it. if you are already asking yourself if it's a good fit and have doubts, it might not been the one for you. I personally apply this method (learned from a book) when purchasing clothes and accessories. It's only my opinion. Good luck!
I would have the watch polished in a small watchmaking company. In my opinion, it's the first step to take because they will tell you straight away if it can be polished or not. If it cannot, then the NJ option but I would insist that for this price, they polish the whole watch before replacing the bezel so you end up with a brand new watch.
On the other hand, you could also keep it that way. I personally had my Hublot Classic Fusion Chrono polished and ended up scratching it the week after which was more frustrating.
Thanks to my post, I have enough positive feedback about the HKF mechanical to get it. I wasn't sure it was a good choice and based on the comments, it's an interesting to have. Thanks @TimeJunkie!

Thanks. I'm glad to hear someone who went through the same process. I think I don't take much risks in getting the HKF mechanical. It's relatively affordable and although, I discovered many other brands in reply to me post, I still prefer this watch. Many thanks for comment 🤝
