The Twelve 36 mm

Just announced: https://www.christopherward.com/int/the-twelve-36mm-loupe-landing.html

I saw the original at Windup in SF; would have been a sale if it were 42 mm… that means this one’s definitely too small for me. Oh well, what’s your take?

They even adopted the PRX strategy. Lol

I think they did a great job. Positioning themselves as an upgrade to the Tissot PRX has been a great strategy, and with the now smaller version following they have cemented that. One of the co-founders said in an interview that this along with the Bel Canto has propelled CW to new heights, which is great to hear, and I think they have a bright future ahead.

I did hear some complaining online about the ±20s accuracy for a €1000+ watch, so I'm curious what other people think of that. All in all it's not my style, but it'll sell very well, I have no doubts about that.

Well, you can get the big one in titanium, and those ones have a better movement. Honestly, caring about the accuracy of a mechanical watch in 2023 strikes me as a bit of a weird angle to come from, though.

And I still want a bigger one, not a smaller one!

I think the only thing lacking is their colour options

Sure the two blues are gorgeous, as is the smaller models green, but:

Both sizes desperately lack a black dial option (imo the grey is kinda ugly, I think it would have worked better on the ti

Smaller size could do with a non gilt white

Would be nice to see the larger size get the green too

Ti is seemingly abandoned here.

Would love to see a steel model with the slimmer cosc case and movement
