I love to collect watches by only purchashing 1 watch from that brand. I feel like i have to make a bigger decision and make sure I am inlove with the watch, otherwise I wont be able to get another from that brand

That’s admirable but very tough to choose between so many great watches from one brand.

Yeah it always takes me months of research before I purchase
I have a long list of watches that I'd like. I'll sit on each for a while before purchase and see if it's still "worthy" of the list. But brand doesn't really come into it. I have 6 Vostoks. Somehow I only have one Seiko (though 3 on wishlist).
That is a very vibrant collection compared to most that I see. It’s nice to see a collection of colourful watches.
Watch collecting has been a learning journey for me; learning the difference between marketing fluff and true horological value, and more importantly learning what kind of watches work for me, what kind of brands, watch types, etc. I should go for. This journey, though extremely painful on the wallet, is the main allure of the hobby for me.

I love a bit of colour in my watches
They all have a personality
I’m in the early stages of the addiction and have the same rule, but have found myself justifying a second from a brand if, for example the caliber is an upgrade (4R35 vs 6R35).
I buy everything I can which I like. No limits!
I buy everything I can (afford) which I like.
