Tudor 1926 hands

Dear All, Sorry if this has been discussed. I'm looking at the Tudor 1926 in 36mm as a backup to my daily wearer ... not that it matters as much but I...

It is very similar to the CW C5 malvern  595 ... down to the movement, width and thickness. Main difference being the small second which I actually prefer to the sterile CW dial.

But CW don't produce the 595 anymore so I have been eyeing this up. It costs quite a bit more than the CW though.

Peseux 7001 is an eta movement so should be reliable.

CW pics below you might be able to get some on the pre-owned as another alternative. You're moving into JLC and Credor territory to get anything smaller.

Epos 3408. 5.9mm Swiss made peseux 7001 handwound movement. Very well finished for the price.

Normally I'd agree with OP but I have a couple of hirsch rubber backed leather straps good for 300m ... so yeah leather on Diver is cool.

Also, wear what you like

Don't you just love watch folk?

Where else can you use the word "beater" in polite conversation? 🙂

Anyhoo... my personal preference is for simple 3 handers, sometimes with a date though I have a couple of dateless watches. I do however own a "beater" in the form of a casio g-shock.

I tend to believe a watch should be "all in" or not at all and I can't think of a better beater than that. My other watches I wouldn't wear gardening let alone fixing the car or chopping wood ... you know, all the manly stuff 😉
