First bigger purchase, Montblanc Monopusher Bronze?

So, as the owner of a rather small collection of 3 watches and a couple pre-being-really-intetested ones, I am slowly preparing to spend my first bigger chunk of money. Alltough I do like some of the go to watches for a lot of people (wouldn't mind a nice Omega) I do tend to prefer the ones that are a bit more uncommon, at least from my perspective.

For the longest time I've been eyeing the Farer Bernina Titanium. Just love the colors combined with the navy leather strap.

Recently I stumbled upon the Montblanc Monopusher in Bronze. What a stunning watch that not a lot of people are talking about! As I understand it, Montblanc is not the most appreciated brand, but that's allright as long as it means you can find this model for more than half off new!

Does anyone have this, or the steel Version and how is it? What's your general opinion on Montblanc?

I was looking at Montblanc Heritage Monopusher with salmon dial. But I think your selection looks better. Still, if you decide to get it, please share your experience with it.

Great watch. I like them a lot but we can't have them all. Or can we.

I've just bought the 3-hand version - chrono was a bit North of my budget.

Thanks for the advice and no, haven't had a bronze one yet. Just like the look of this particular one, especially compared to the steel version.

So true...

I do not have experience with this model but I do love my Montblanc 1858 Blue Iced Sea, it is my most worn watch. I love it as much now as when my wife gave it to me.

Montblanc watches are very good for the money and their recent designs have been getting better, more mainstream.

There’s a steel version of the model you’re looking for with the same black dial as the bronze model you shared. Seems like you can get an additional 15% off the discounted price from Ashford at the moment.

I own a Montblanc from the Meisterstuck series. I got it for the complication and at a decent price. It’s very well made and performs well. It’s a quirky dressier style. Though the design language of that series is not to everyone’s liking.

They do put in a lot of effort to make the watch look more expensive by embellishing the movement with lots of decorative details. There is perlage on many components, blued screws, Geneva striping near the rotor bearings, engraved pattern on the rotor made up of Montblanc logos, with engraved wordings and spiral patterns on the outer edge of the rotor, almost everything you can think of, and probably all done by machine.

Great chose of model and brand! I have 2 Montblanc models one of which is monopusher and can say from experience that the quality, aesthetics, attention to detail is impeccable- on the same level as Rolex, Omega, etc.

I love Montblanc and what they are doing and would advise not to worry about brand appreciation.

I feel like Montblanc is a legitimate watch maker, at the same time it is also not too important. Just makes you wonder a little bit how they are asking 5.780 € when you can get it new/unworn for a fraction of the price.
