Gift from my father
Hello! A few days back my father gift me a Rolex that he owns for a few years. I believe it’s the Rolex Hulk and due to curiosity, I want to check if its authentic or not, but since I’m new to the watchworld I ask for your opinion on this watch :)

It's a beautiful piece for sure. To authenticate you may he best served taking the watch into an AD. Many people on Watch Crunch will have more details on the serial number, dial, case etc for authentication

It's a recent enough Rolex and a commonly enough faked piece that I would not trust verification on a forum. Nor would I post a serial.
Definitely go to an AD.

Yes, AD is an Authorized Dealer or official shop
Determining authenticity would be challenging with a single photo. As others said, go to a local dealer and have them confirm. Are you able to ask your dad to tell you about it? Did he buy it for a special occasion, does it have a story? There are ways to have a conversation vs. straight up asking if it is authentic.
If it’s legit it’s worth about as much as a car. Get it authenticated by a professional.

The fakes are so good now you pretty much have to take it to your AD (authorized dealer) and have there watchmaker check it out. I have seen fakes that are so good side by side the only way was to open them up.. Good Luck..I will say when someone says they were GIVEN a hulk..Mmmm,
Hahahahahaha, I'm from a conservative family so asking a question similar to that would be taken as a disrespect. However either way, if it's a fake or not I will still wear it as it's not just a watch but a watch that's a gift from my father
