If its an inexpensive piece - there is a fun guy on Ridley Road market in Dalston.

Not sure I'd take a real luxury item there - but he has done great on the things I have taken him.

Believe he is called "Variety Time". He is likely to have prayers on in the background and will offer you cardamom tea - a real character.

A demagnatizer is crazy cheap and should be used first. Fast, easy and inexpensive.

Heโ€™s still there?

Likeโ€ฆ thirty years on?

(Thereโ€™s a watchmaker/repairman of long-standing in Piccadilly Circus too. I havenโ€™t used any as yet, but the time is coming.)
