In Search of the Perfect Chronograph: Recommendations Needed!
I'm on the hunt for an automatic chronograph between £1k and £3k. I love the look of a pre-ceramic Daytona which is obviously way out of budget, but similar watches like the Tudor Price Date Chrono or Omega Speedmaster date have the same vibe. Any recommendations?
Ideal spec:
around 40mm
20mm lug width
no more than 50mm lug-to-lug
steel tachymeter bezel
white or black dial
Swiss movement

Honestly, I don't know many with a tachymeter steel bezel.
The Sinn 144 might be worth a look
I’ve got a Le Jour Rally Monte-Carlo that matches most of your size requirements though the design might not work for you.
They’ve got panda and reverse panda dials as well. Or if you can go up to 42mm they have some more traditional chronograph styles as does Raymond Weil in your price range.

yeh... it's alright... lol not 100% the vibe but good shout. I was looking at the hamilton jazzmaster chrono too.

The Tudor Chrono I like better than the current one. It looks very similar to my Tudor BB Pro which I like a lot.

that is so nice! I feel like I've missed a golden age of Oris. All the current models aren't as exciting as this one
