Shall I pull the trigger on SD43 🥹

Hello everyone, I’ve always wanted a sea dweller 43. I always think about it as the better submariner that I want, with the red line it make it perfect in my eyes 🤩.

It fit my 7.5 inches wrist perfectly. I found unworn one form a dealer I trust for 12,000$ with box and papers. Since I bought a lot of watches recently I’m not sure to go for it or hold. Is the price really good or I can get it later with same range of price.

What do you think guys? Appreciate your advice…

This how it wears on my wrist .. 😍

The most important things are that you wanted a Sea Dweller and you tried it on already.

I let mine go after feeling like a little kid wearing my Dad's big ol' watch and my wrist isn't much smaller than yours. I wanted it to work so badly that I probably kept it longer than I should have.

Imo the price you're being asked for an unworn, B&Ps, is fair market value with a worn example fetching about a grand less.

Lock it down if it's a dream watch. It's unworn and years from now what you paid will be less important. Good luck!

Go for it. Check comps on C24 and other sources. Sounds pretty good to me, especially from a trusted seller. B & P?

I have a Sea Dweller with the bracelet that tapers to 16mm at the clasp. I've got a 7" wrist and I feel it's very top heavy. Similar to my Seiko MM300. I love the heft but man as I wear it all day - It's like a workout. That's the only gripe I have with the SD. Good luck with your decision 🤙🏽

All subjective, is B&P and unworn important to you? If not, hold out for a better deal.

Me personally, I want my Dweller less a cyclops, maybe I’m old school🤷‍♂️. I do love that red text though.

I will say it looks good on your wrist size and proportions wise.

I owned a mark I as well. It’s a terrific watch with a superior movement and case to any submariner. But it’s big and top heavy and can slide around if worn a little loose or uncomfortable if a little snug. I couldn’t quite get it just right and ultimately sold it because for me a watch has to be comfortable and it just wasn’t no matter how much I wanted it to be. I went on to an explorer II and have been delighted.

I hope that helps and good luck. Terrific choice

It’s a magnificent watch. Was concerned 43mm might have been too big but not the case. Absolutely luv it. Looks great on your wrist.

Don’t pay more than retail.

Definitely an accessible model from AD
