Two weeks ago, I shipped my first bespoke watch to a customer I did not know personally. He found me on Instagram and messaged me for a custom-made watch, intending to wear it at his wedding.
Based on his brief, the watch is a barong-inspired timepiece, hand-painted with a laser-etched pattern. The indices are painted on the sapphire crystal, featuring the wedding date at 12 o'clock and a flower at 6 o'clock.
This is my favorite watch design so far.
To anyone interested, the specs are:
- Case: 36mm with screw down crown
- Thickness: 12.25mm
- Crystal: Sapphire
- Movement: TMI (Seiko) NH38
