Yeah, the hooded lug doesn't seem to complement the bracelet well. In my opinion, it looks better with a strap.
Have you experienced any difficulty putting on a strap due to the short length of these shrouded lugs? I've found it can be challenging and it has ruin two of my straps.
I'm considering a cornered strap, where the ends are cut slightly to blend better with the case. You should look into that if you have not already.

That is what I have done to this cheap band... 20mm strap, and l cut 1mm off bothe ends! 🤗
