Will Tissot release a PRX Powermatic 80 in a 35mm??

Hi there! I'm new to the watch community. Since the release of the PRX I've been desperately trying to get one as my first watch. I'm now specifically looking at the Powermatic 80 since I don't want a quartz watch. The problem with the Powermatic 80 however is the huge lug-to-lug size of 51mm due to the integrated bracelet. That is a huge size for my 6.1 inch wrist. I'm a 17yo and my wrist is also yet to fully grow. So do I get the 40mm PRX P80 or wait for Tissot to release a 35mm if they are ever going to release one? Thanks. (Image from Google)

Ok here's the kicker, unless you gain weight, your wrist won't increase in size

So let me welcome you to skinny wrist club lol

Word on the street from Google searching says yes. Summer-ish?

If they do, I'm also in for one in a black dial.

Tissot already released the 35mm variants during a Swatch group event a month back which will be available soon for sale during the summer. There will be blue, green, black and a silver dial.

Just wait and get the 35mm version if you want the automatic. Your wrists are going to stay the same unless your body weight changes then maybe a slight increase.

That is some delightful news! I hope it releases, I'll get one immediately either in Blue or Ice-Blue

Same as the 40mm variants as far as news I have read on forums. Unlikely for Tissot to price it higher or lower than the current 40mm powermatic 80 variants.

The quartz variants are priced same for both sizes.

You know, as a WIS we usually gravitate towards mechanical right? But man, lemme tell you, that quartz with mint green dial? It's glorious!

Any word of Tissot releasing the ice blue dial in a 40mm quartz? I don't particularly care for a date window on an automatic...

No new quartz colours. Maybe next year you can see some more colours.

All the versions of PRX have a date window anyway if you are looking for without.

Thank you for this! I was really hoping that they'd offer the ice blue dial in their 40mm quartz models. I hear you about the date window. I'd rather not bother setting the date on a watch that's worn in rotation. That's why I prefer the convenience of a quartz movement if the watch MUST have a date window.

From what I know, they have an Ice Blue Quartz PRX but only for the 35mm, as of now. I think they might add it later on since they have it on 35 but idk. Here's the 35mm :-https://www.tissotwatches.com/en-en/t1372101135100.html

I would definitely get one if they do a gold variant in automatic. Maybe with the next set of colors they release, you never know 🤷🏻‍♂️

There is one out already and it has been for a long time, it’s a gold and diamond face. Not for me but defo will be getting a 35mm when it comes out in other colours. I think it will be hottest watch on the planet when it’s released.

nah this is defo not for me. This the ugliest PRX imo. There are rumours and confirmations that a PRX in 35mm is coming this month so lets see
