Finally, a display case!

I finally realised I needed a better storage solution than on the side of my dresser once I got to 5. They look so much better in there!

Yeah, that was an impulse purchase in between Christmas and New Year, I saw it and instantly had to have it!

And I'm talking about Rolex as a whole, as an extention of the main topic. I simply voiced an opinion, if you disagree that's fine, move on!

Hence they aren't on my list either. But they'd be higher up than Rolex for sure, if they were!

Just utterly wrong. Rolex are so far down my list of watches to own, it'll never be reached. They're boring, you're paying for the name...why would I want that? So many FAR nicer watches for the same money or much less.

Why would I want to pay an extortionate amount of money for a frankly, boring and vastly overpriced watch that everyone else has? Sorry but these comments are getting ridiculous.

Nah, I never have understood the Rolex hype. They just don't appeal to me, I find they all look very similar, somewhat generic and are just vastly over priced. Plus, it's what everyone has if they want to spend an absolute fortune, they don't stand out. I'd much rather 4, 5 or hell, even 10 "lesser" watches for the price of that one new Rolex. Don't get me wrong, the finishing and quality is amazing and they do look nice, but for me they just don't do it, you're paying for the name and often status. For the same money I can think of a plethora of other watches that I'd much rather have! That's my take on it anyway, I know plenty of people love them and they hold their value very well long term, which is nice, but only if you plan to sell it later 😉
