I'm looking for a dress watch below $1500 and need your input!!
Here are my criteria
Sub 38mm in diameter
Sub 10mm for thickness
Mechanical movement will be nice but if the design and finishing is great, I will consider quartz as well

How about a Mido Baroncelli, it’s within your price point, many variations so there are 38mm cases and thickness around 9mm depending on specific model. If I had that Cartier you have, I’d probably just wear that.

Thank you for the suggestion!! TBH santos works in almost all occasions but sometimes wanna wear sclassic round dress watches. I hope when I see it in person, it's as good as the photos!

There are automatic models, but also solar and radio controlled (max bill mega solar), they all should fall under 1500$ category.
I Would say Nomos has great value at that price point and they are all really slim sub 10mm.
Get a preowned Cartier Tank (quartz) and call it a day

Nomos tangente, metro and longines new small seconds master collections were in my mind but wondering if I can go lower in the budget and still get satisfaction🥹
