Unexpected add to my collection.

I was bringing my family heirloom watch to a well deserved service, and while I was talking to the man who owned the store, we were talking about watches (what else🤯), and he had numerous Zeppelin watches, and I was literally standing there for 30 minutes, arguing with myself that Ive just got a new strap for my recent watch I dont need it. But eventually I couldnt just leave it there, so I chose this beauty. My family and colleges probably think Im a maniac, but Im so happy with it! Also got a nice magazine with more masterpieces and interesting history about the watches.

I retract my opinion about not liking German watches. Zeppelin makes stuff I like, or that I'd like if they made smaller stuff.

I would like to see one in person. "Zeppelin" is a POINTtec brand, which is strongly pushed in German Teleshopping, similar to other recent brands that use names based on German aviation history. (Junkers, Messerschmitt, etc.)

POINTtec successfully makes a lot of watches, and is certainly a very experienced watchmaker. It would be really interesting to hold one of these Zeppelin watches in my hand.
