Sometimes a similar strap colour to the dial works.
Grey/silvery leather would be nice. It would make the blue dial pop out.
Or silver mesh is another option.
Since the watch is kinda dressy, I would leave nato's out of the picture.
The more I look at it, the more that brown suits it as well.

I think brown and blue pair nicely. I'm brown and the majority of my watches are blue.
Very light brown color, like tan leather or sand color.
I would try first with NATO to see what works the best in reality, and then eventually order a bespoke leather strap in the chosen color.
Cheapest iterative way to find it.
