Can't decide on a new summer watch?

Hey everyone, I'd appreciate advice/recommendations on the following watches , which I am trying to decide upon. New summer (down under) watch beach/bbq's/indoors/outdoors.

The 3 three I'm tossing up at the moment are:

Tag Heuer Aquaracer / Oris Aquis Cal 400 / Omega Aqua Terra

I'd say if you want color, maybe the Oris. If you want a bit more subdued I'd go with AT

Hey there!  Don't think you can go wrong with any of those awesome choices.  I would say that both the Tag and the Oris look much more like traditional divers, while the AT leans a bit more in the dressier direction.

Like for all of us desk divers, the question you need to ask yourself is:  Which vibe do you want to give off?

  1. "This watch can survive pressures up to 200M... so if I trip while walking along the shore in a drunken stupor, and get sucked out by a rip current, please find my body and give my still functioning watch to my kids."
  2.  "This watch is for yachting... so if I slip and bang my head on the bulwark and fall overboard in a drunken stupor, and get sucked out by a rip current, please find my body and give my still functioning watch to my kids."

I'd say that the Omega Aqua Terra is in a league above the other two, so that would be my pick. Not only do I feel that it is a "better" watch, if resale is important to you, I think it should hold more value than the other choices.

This could be a strong contender Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 42mm White Dial Rubber 210.32.42.20.04.001

When I saw the new Aqua Terra Small Seconds videos start to show up I thought of it as a ”summer” watch. The rubber strap versions seem like a natural fit or you can go bracelet

It’s so hard to choose between those options all have it’s pros and cons…I kinda like the Omega aqua terra but if you are  doing the outdoor activities with the polish center links strap it will be unpolish in a matter of days, put it on the rubber it kinda presented a little too dressy for the great outdoors. The Aqua racer seems more sporty and outdoors but i don’t really like the price point which a seiko dive watch can do the job at a quarter of the price. The Oris seems to me like a subby wannabe and i too feel a seiko diver will be a compiling choice over the oris. But ultimately out of the trios presented i will go with the Omega Aqua Terra. please be kind with your torch and flame as this are just my genuine thoughts of the selection.😬

Pretty much what I been thinking about Chris. Take off the polished center link strap and put on a curved end strap I got from strapco already.

1 vote for the Oris. On top of everything the Aquis brings to the table, the 10 year warranty is a big plus.

None of the 3 shout summer watch to me my friend! More autumn coming into winter!;) the Squale 1521 50 Atoms blue ocean polished case. That is the ONLY watch I have ever had a compliment from AAAAAAAANNNNNNNDDDDD it was in the summertime! Merry Christmas my friend

“beach/bbq's/indoors/outdoors“

The Oris.

If your list included work and weddings, then the Omega.

Both are excellent.
