Mine are custom and pricey. My nephew does my work for me. I focus on finding straps that are unique and different exotic skins and leathers.

Thanks for the feedback, I’d love to see some pictures and an idea of cost.

I have gotten several straps from Corey he is a great guy! Customized and great prices.

@StrapHabit is also a great place to get straps. Elastic ones have been my favorite from them so far!

Forgot to add, if you like metal, check out Forstner. Classy and actually historical straight end metal straps.

Long response, heads up 😂!

While I enjoy some of the fun designs from CNS bands and Amazon, I don't usually wear them all that often because I wear most of my watches in a more dynamic environment. The last thing I want to worry about is my mostly spring bar failure proof setup (watch head and single pass strap) coming off due to shoddy sewing and/or non sewn in hardware.

@Inkitatus usually harps on this, but he does have a point, sewn or screwed in hardware is more secure. Any I wear regularly that aren't sewn in, are checked before donning. Same goes for steel I wear.

This of course doesn't prevent EVERY break but it helps.

I'd also add that you get what you pay for. The cheaper straps, especially nylon, are very thin and wear very fast. The more expensive straps have much better material.

Finally, there is a point of diminishing returns. I'd say the sweet spot is $30-70 for basic NATO/Nylon single pass stuff. Anything more and you are paying for niche handmade products. Anything cheaper and there will be a tactile and noticeable difference in material.

And be warned, ZuluAlpha and Zane's Handmade are not cheap. Are they worth double or more the cost of a Crown and Buckle? For you to decide. For me, yes. I like the dudes behind the company, I like their design ethos, I like the fact they are active in the -mil community.

But I'm the kind of guy who will spend at least as much, if not way more, for the optic on my rifle. YMMV. 🤙🏻👌🏻

Thx for the link. Those look good! 👌🏻

Buy once, cry once! 🍻

Great feedback and I’m with you, I’d rather spend a little more for quality and ideally something unique. I hadn’t thought much about the possibility of failure so that great advise!

That blacktip on navy is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 sir.

I've had great luck with CLDstraps as well as Liger. Have my first straps from Delug arriving soon too. I also got some from TC straps which were a little too nice for my Panerai so might be good for a dress watch.

W.O.E is good for nato.

Haveston for mil inspired canvas.

Eulit for Perlon.

Forstner for bracelets.

And for leather try Etsy for a custom job - well worth it and huge bang for buck.
